Senior UI UX Designer

The Senior UI/UX Designer will play a pivotal role in crafting user-centric design solutions for our clients’ complex challenges. Working closely with cross-functional teams and collaborating with clients, you will shape intuitive and impactful user experiences that align with their business objectives. Your design expertise will contribute to delivering unique and effective solutions that elevate our clients’ brands and maximize their digital presence. Must be an authorized worker residing in the United States.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Create visually captivating designs that reflect clients’ brand identities while maintaining a strong focus on usability and accessibility.
  • Organize complex information structures into intuitive layouts, simplifying user interactions and enhancing engagement.
  • Define and execute comprehensive design strategies that address user needs, client objectives, and industry trends.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their design needs, business goals, and user requirements, ensuring alignment throughout the design process
  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and expertise to foster their growth and contribute to a collaborative design culture.
  • Develop comprehensive design documentation, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistent and efficient implementation.
  • Estimate design time for new features and projects
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely fashion using company-provided email, phone, and messaging systems.
  • Learn new design paradigms, and tools as needed to build high-quality solutions according to industry best practices.
  • Log hours worked on client tasks each day.
  • Maintain all work product, including documentation and iterations on tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Working on-site at the Atiba office requires the ability to climb stairs.
  • Occasional on-site work at client offices.
  • Occasional travel by automobile and air.

Work Environment and Time Requirements

  • Climate-controlled office environment or work-from-home
  • Flexible 40-hour work week (must be available for scheduled meetings)
  • Variations in work volume sometimes require extended working hours
  • Occasional on-site visits to customers, possibly requiring out-of-state travel (rare)

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful design solutions for clients across industries.
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing successful client projects that demonstrate your ability to address unique design challenges and create positive outcomes.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Successful completion of a drug and background screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the custom software development UX
  • Experience with task management tool Jira Atlassian
