Atiba acquires Wheelhouse Marketing Advisors

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville-based Atiba Holdings, LLC announced Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Wheelhouse Marketing Advisors, LLC, through an asset purchase.

Wheelhouse will continue to operate as a distinct brand but will become the in-house marketing services division of Atiba, which has grown into one of Middle Tennessee’s largest managed services, web design, software development, and IT consulting companies. Atiba’s other divisions include Atiba Network Services LLC, Atiba Software LLC, Cabedge Design LLC and Atiba Management LLC.

Wheelhouse_CoBrand_Marks-02“As our website design businesses have grown we are finding more and more of our clients are asking for our help with their marketing and branding,” Atiba founder JJ Rosen said. “A great website does not have much value without the right marketing mix to complement it.

“Our goal with Wheelhouse is to grow our traditional and digital marketing capabilities to help our clients achieve a greater return on investment. Plus, we’ve worked closely with them the past four years and feel like their model is a great cultural fit with what we’ve been building at Atiba.”

Atiba, which Rosen launched in 1992, has seen significant growth over the last several years, increasing its staff to more than 70 employees. Atiba serves more than 1,100 clients, from iconic local brands such as HCA, Loveless Café, Nashville Chamber, NewsChannel 5 and Vanderbilt University to nationally-renowned brands like Dell, Dollar General, Expedia and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Founded in 2012 by managing partners Joe Harkins and Carter Toole, Wheelhouse helps clients leverage marketing to take control of their brand and drive more business. Based in Franklin, Wheelhouse currently has 25 clients, including the Arizona Cardinals, CedarStone Bank, Columbia State Community College, Detroit Lions, Elite Sports Medicine, FNB Bank, Healthspek and the Nashville Sports Council.
